Kim Melville-Smith

I’ve spent most of my life fascinated by one question:

Why do some people keep moving forward, while others stay stuck?

Not because they’re lazy. Not because they’re incapable. Not because they’re broken.

But because somewhere along the way, they stopped believing in themselves.

I’ve seen it in business owners. Parents. Executives. Entrepreneurs.

People who looked successful from the outside and felt hollow on the inside.

People who knew they were capable of more, but couldn’t seem to bridge the gap between knowing and doing.

And if I’m honest, I’ve seen it in myself too.

I’ve built businesses. Lost businesses. Started over more than once. Changed direction. Moved countries. Raised a daughter.

I’ve had periods where life flowed, and periods where I had to rebuild from the ground up.

What surprised me most wasn’t the difficulty of those periods.

It was what they revealed.

The patterns I hadn’t noticed. The energy I was leaking. The standards I had quietly accepted without realising it. The stories I was carrying about who I was and what was possible for me.

That journey led me to study human behaviour, performance, coaching, breathwork, nervous system regulation, movement, and personal transformation.

Over the years, I’ve trained in Strategic Intervention, NLP, Himalayan Kriya Yoga, breathwork, and a range of performance and coaching modalities.

But the credential I trust most isn’t any certificate on a wall.

It’s the thousands of conversations I’ve had with real people.

People are trying to save their marriages. Build their businesses. Recover their confidence. Find their purpose. Improve their health. Start again.

What I’ve learned is this.

Most people do not need more information.

They already know what they should be doing. They know they should look after their health. Manage their energy. Use their time better. Create stronger boundaries. Go after what they truly want.

The challenge is rarely knowledge.

“The challenge is turning what we know into consistent action.”

That is why I created Step Up. Level Up. Power Up.

Not to fix people. Not because I believe people are broken. But because I believe most people are living below their potential, and I believe that with the right support, the right environment, and the right accountability, people change far more quickly than they think.

I don’t believe in mistakes.

I believe we make choices. Every choice teaches us something. Every lesson gives us more awareness. And with more awareness, we get to choose again.

That’s how change actually happens.

Not through perfection. Through awareness, choice, action, and repetition.

If you work with me, I’ll bring everything I’ve learned over the last twenty years.

But more than that, I’ll bring genuine care.

I care about people winning.

I care about people becoming stronger than the story they’ve been telling themselves.

I care about people creating lives they’re genuinely excited to wake up to.

And I care enough to challenge them when they need it, even when it’s uncomfortable.

If you’re looking for someone to give you all the answers, I’m not the right person.

If you’re ready to take responsibility, build real momentum and find out what you’re actually capable of, I’d love to work with you.

The future isn’t something that happens to you.

It’s something you create, one choice at a time.
